The Case for Kasumi in Mass Effect 2
kek | April 22, 2010Unlike everyone who was hating on the fact that they were paying $7 for 1 hour worth of gameplay, I actually fully enjoyed this DLC. Although Kasumi was not as fleshed out like some of the other crew members aboard the Normandy, she is radically fun to play with.
It was fun pretending to be James Bond, fraternizing with the enemy, and “silently” taking out guards to get codes to access a secret vault. I like having something else to wear aboard the Normandy besides the usual space suits and military gear. Unfortunately, I already finished the main quest with one character, but it does give me incentive to play the entire quest again. (I still have to finish my other character in the first game though.)
Kasumi also brings abilities that can complement your crew. She is the typical thief/assassin who relies heavily on stealth and invisibility to take down her targets. When you level up her abilities, she can do multiple instant kills in a flash.
Regardless, it is not only just one hour of gameplay for her loyalty mission, but it is about the potential number of hours as a member of your squad.
